Top Priorities

My highest priorities will remain public safety and that our homes, workplaces, and schools will remain as safe as possible. As I’ve done throughout my career, I will continue to:
Work closely with the Board of Commissioners and the County Administrator to continue to add additional Deputies to our Road Patrol for faster response times, more presence in our schools including at after hours sporting events, and for increased officer safety.
Run a safe and secure correctional facility and to continue to offer and increase programs in the jail for those who are incarcerated.
Keep our Road Patrol & Corrections Division fully staffed and when there is an opening, continue to hire competent, hardworking, and dedicated individuals.
Provide the best training, equipment, and technology, available to more effectively serve our communities and staff.
